Drill down on focus areas for expert level analysis.

Deep dives aggregate signals across board packs and supporting documents, so you can see trends, variances, and outliers at a glance. Each deep-dive β€œpaper” is refreshable, fully cited, and interactive: ask questions, take notes, and send key points to your Prep sheet.

Deep-dive types (overview)

  • Board Pre-read - synthesizes the latest board material, financials, and previous minutes.

  • Financial Health - key metrics and recommendations for improvement.

  • Competitor Analysis - competitor activity, strategy, and positioning.

  • Inconsistency Analysis - cross-document discrepancies to investigate.

  • Market Trends - emerging industry/market trends and potential opportunities/risks.

  • Risk Analysis - major risks, impact, and mitigations.

  • Strategy Review - alignment to objectives; gaps and progress.

  • Operational Review - 6-month operational performance and key decisions.

  • Regulatory Updates - recent/coming changes and compliance implications.

Each type pulls from the current meeting and previous meetings for detailed trends.

Paper structure (what you’ll see on each deep dive)

Each paper is structured slightly differently to reflect the content. However there are two main components:

  1. Report

  2. Recommendations

What you can do on any deep-dive paper

Ask questions (Janet): Click Ask about this report to query the current scope, answers include citations.

Take notes: Highlight a chart/table to add a comment.

Share: Share the entire report or parts of it with the share functionality.

Refresh cadence

  • Weekly refresh: Deep dives are refreshed weekly to stay current. Any notes you take are saved and cached.

  • On new papers: When you upload or replace a relevant document (e.g., a new board pack), the affected deep dives refresh to include the latest version.
