Security is critical with board papers. Tutaki uses Phone (SMS) MFA for any password reset, this ensures you are who you say you are. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, you don’t have a Tutaki password - reset it with your identity provider instead.
How to reset your password
On the sign-in page, click Forgot password.
Enter your email and choose Verify via phone (SMS).
We’ll send a 6-digit code to your verified number (include country code).
Enter the code to confirm it’s you.
Set a new password (follow the on-screen requirements), then Save.
Tip: You can also change your password from Account Settings → General → Change password (you’ll confirm via SMS).
Update your phone number (for MFA)
If you can sign in: go to Account Settings → General → Phone number, update it, and verify.
If you can’t sign in (lost phone/number): contact [email protected] to verify your identity and update your MFA number.
Troubleshooting
Didn’t get the SMS code:
Check you have signal and the number includes +country code.
Wait ~30 seconds, then Resend code (avoid rapid repeats).
Some carriers delay international SMS - try again or contact Support.
“We don’t recognize this email”: Confirm the address on your Tutaki invite email or reach out to support.
Forgot which method you use: Try Continue with Google/Microsoft first. If that doesn’t work, use Forgot password with your email. If all else fails, reach out to [email protected]
